Fabregas rebutts Manchester United's claim of a possible transfer

Fabregas has quelled speculation linking him with a summer transfer to Man U by insisting he wants to stay at Camp Nou.

The former Arsenal man has endured a tough season at Camp Nou, having been whistled by the club's fans in certain matches for putting in a number of poor performances.

But he insists that it is his dream to play for Barca and that he is unwilling to give that up.

"It's fascinating how some people can invent these things, I've never opened my mouth about this," he told Onda Cero.

"Im very happy, it's taken a lot to get where I am and I don't plan on throwing that away for anything.

Speaking about the boos that have greeted him on occasion, Fabregas insists he is not taking the responsibility of playing for Barcelona lightly.
"The public is the judge," he added. "If they whistle, I'll have to put up with it. I was the first to know that Barca would be the most important challenge of my life. I just want to play. Barcelona is my home, I've always dreamed of retiring here.
