S'pore Pools not accepting bets: Technical glitch or controversial England goal?

STOMPer Munich Koh found that Singapore Pools was not issuing winnings or accepting bets island-wide, apparently because of a "technical error".

The STOMPer thinks that the real reason is the controversial goal by England's Frank Lampard in the Germany-England match on Jun 27.

In the STOMPer's email:

"I was going to the Tanglin Halt Econ mini-mart to claim my winnings and purchase new bets when I was stopped.

"The sales lady said they are not accepting bets or issuing winnings until further notice island-wide.

"Probing further, this could be due to the controversial goal in the England-Germany match.

"I called the SG Pools helpline and they also said the downtime was due to a technical error.

"The truth could be more than meets the eyes.

"It is not so simple. Their systems are very robust from my knowledge."

Those who won cant claim their winnings. What about those who lost ? can claim back money ? LOL

hmm...... sgpool system is meant to bet s-league nia !!! :p haha
