Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan have pulled away the last 7 games winning & is now on top of the table.
Anything less than a win here for AC against poor team traveller, Chievo would see them trail Juventus and Inter Milan by wide margins, and they cannot afford any dropping points against any opponents.
They conceded a last-minute goal as Lecce pulled level to draw and deny AC their full 3 points.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti will be disappointed, and he knows his side can ill afford any more complacency. AC Milan as punters are aware is the better team & of UEFA CL materials, the 3 points will be theirs.
They should really have no problems turning Chievo over.
On the other side, Chievo are in poor shape. Chievo has not won since the opening day of the season.
They have now gone down 10 matches without a win and thats poor..
A relegation sight is now looking near looming ...They managed to beat one lowly team. Currently Chievo have lost their last 3 away matches in a row without scoring a single goal.
They failed to score & have their strikers have lost their scoring touch..They lack confidence and do not put aspirations top priority in the team.
Chievo has hardly threatened any team & even though they know the San Siro game is one they cannot expect to win, they cannot lose either.
Current Chievo team does not possessed same strengths & credibility as the team of a few seasons back and indeed they are a real candidate for relegation.
AC Milan have won the last 3 games against Chievo, and they have also won the last 3 games against Chievo at their home of San Siro.
Due to a strong AC Milan side which is expected to play against a lacklustre Chievo side, i am taking AC Milan to win this game comfortably by at least 2 goals
