Arsenal is back to reality, & leaving their some of the winning young lads on the bench. Instead their 1st team will be in action.
Arsenal's young guns will go back to Reserve team and U18 team as predicted.
Just imagine when Arsenal went 3 matches without a win, & Arsenal took apart Manchester United last time out in the Premier League, winning 2-1 and it seems that Arsenal will look to inflict similar pain on Aston Villa.
Aston Villa come into this one on the back of a demoralising 1-2 home defeat against Boro.
Aston Villa cannot afford such mistakes again if they are playing teams like MU, Chelsea or Arsenal. Aston Villa's away form this season has been decent. They have won 6 and drawn 3 of their 9 away matches in all competitions.
AV have been beaten by teams such as NC, Chelsea.
AV must win this game badly if they want to return to their winning ways.
AV will miss their lethal scorer John Carew due to injury. That means James Milner could partner Gabriel Agbonlahor at the front yet again.
AV has not beaten Arsenal in London since 93, and I cannot see why that trend wil change.
Though Arsenal has lost to Hull 1-2, which was most unexpected. i do not see they will lose to AV if they concentrate on their defence.
I also do not think the first teamers would want to come across as inadequate compared to the all-conquering youngsters in midweek!
I go for Arsenal @ -1 Handicap.
May the best team wins...cheers
