3. Spurs vs Wigan Pick Spurs by 2 goals
Is spurs on winning lucK? It seems that they will want to continue this good feeling of winning games which had eluded them during Martin Jol's period.

Hotspurs welcome the visit of Wigan to White Hart Lane.

Hotspurs' fortunes seem to be picking up but they still cannot move up if they do not win easy matches and for them to be top 6, they must now not lose concentration.

They may have played in 3 different competitions in their last 3 matches, and they bagged 2 wins and 1 draw - that one draw came in the Premiership!

Beaten Blackpool and Hapoel Tel Aviv both by 2-0, and will hope to end their 9-game winless Premiership with a win over Wigan, maybe by 2,3 goals margin.

Tottenham also hope they will bring some early Christmas joys to the home fans after losing 3out of 5 at home.

New manager, Juande Ramos will want to continue to instil confidence & hope to the team and will want to bring that glow back into the side by winning tonight games.

Wigan are in much worst form as compare to Spurs..

After making a very good start to their Premiership, they seem to lose steam and practically have faltered...

As stated, their present management will want a better manager ever now as the team is losing games.... Paul Jewel was seen to be in talks with the management...

Under caretaker boss Frank Barlow has so far failed to weave any of his magic, and Wigan have now slumped to 6 straight defeats in the Premiership.
Much has to be done tonight if Wigan wants to be in middle table again.

Losing to Pool, Portsmouth and Chelsea at home and Reading, MU and Birmingham City away had made fans angry & exaperated for a new radical manager to pull Wigan out of the blues.

Both home & away record/forms are equally bad unless someone can conjure up some real magic to pull the team back in winnings...Their only better than expected game was against West Ham, drawing with West Ham.

Wigan's defence away from home is atroscious and their attack can only hope to be better..

Wigan striker of Marcus Bent & Hesky will be there to assist the team but they require the support of the backline to send the ball to them..Hopefully tonight Wigan will not deploy a LONE striker upfront.

I think 4-3-3 formation should be a practical one for scoring goals to win games..

Spurs on the other hand with Ramos in charge are more defensively & sounder. Their strikeforce of Keanes & Berbateu will be hard to crack by Wigan's defenders/

I would back Spurs to win this game match without much fuss..

Wish all punters good luck in their picks and favourite team. remember, the ball is round...anything can happen...

Enjoy your weekend...Cheers

:D:rolleyes:
