Manchester City is still in contention and not out even though its shareholders Thaksin is battling with his country court case.
Even MC's manager Mark Hughes is confident he can take it to greater heights due to its enormous good cash flows.
Manchester City could be absolutely breathtaking in their attacking brand of football with Robinho but always they missed the target.
MC recently strolled to a 3-0 home win over Stoke City but lost 0-2 away at Middlesbrough. Alot of expectation and again they lost 0-2, this time to Bolton at the Reebok Stadium.
Finally they pulled a win, a hard-fought 3-2 home win in the UEFA Cup against Steve McClaren's FC Twente. These are uncertain times at Manchester City, and I am sure the investors are eager to see better results from their investments.
Tottenham is truly a team transformed from its predecessors.
Harry Redknapp's appointment proved a silver lining & with a masterstroke of luck, transforms Tottenham & winning their first League game straight away.
Their 4-4 away draw agaisnt Arsenal was the most impressive, and their 2-1 win over Liverpool was out of this world.
They remain the only team to have beaten Liverpool this season! Last time out, they walloped Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 thanks to a hattrick from Darren Bent, and another from Tom Huddlestone.
Cannot under the reasons why & whats wrong with the team...
Harry Redknapp will be cautious though, because as impressive as his team have been, an away trip to Manchester to face City is always going to be tough.
City come into this one with full confidence of pulling a coup of a up coming Hotspurs team.
Harry Redknapp is sweating over the fitness of Jermaine Jenas, the main scorer who is struggling with a toe injury.
History showed Manchester City have only won 1 of their last 9 against Tottenham at home, and if that is anything to go by, the best they could hope for is a draw!
That 1 win came the last time they met back in March, and even then they went behind to a Robbie Keane striker before recovering to win 2-1.
With this record in mind, Spurs look the more psychologically prepared. Of course, they are also the form team, having registered some extraordinary results under Redknapp.
Even though it has draw written all over, i think if MC plays well beyond any doubt, they may nick a goal against a inform Spurs.
So il pick MC to draw or nick a goal here from Robinho.
May the best team wins...
:D:rolleyes:
