Yes... it was reported officially too in ESPN news.. what a loss to McClaren as Alonso may rethink his strategies for the next month or so...
I reckon he may return to Renault being his partnership when he was still new then.
Good luck Alonso...

Hi Guys,
Brawn + Alonso = a great team???
Just to share a latest report from the sports desk of a leading newspaper..
Red Bull are set to become a major player in the F1 arena with Fernando Alonso & former Ferrari technical director, Mr Ross Brawn all set to form a team.
Red Bull are kindo late to enter into this arena but its never too late to arrive.
With both experts on board, this will be changing the F1 racing circuit in times to come.
The challenge to lift Red Bull into the leagues of McClaren, Ferrari and other famous marques could have given Brawn the " oooomps" again and this proves too tempting for Brawn to resist and particularly the other coming on board is a world class no 1 driver.
What more can you not accept the challenges ahead?

Hi brudder,
from your response, it sounds that you are sad that your favorite driver Hakki has retired.
But look positive, retirement is not all bad...
There is a possibility that this renowed driver Hakki is having some great times doing other sports...
SO cheer up and live life to the fullest...It is not all that bad afterall.
Cheers

Dear Aciveoddsians,
If you guys may have forgotten, it was Alonso winning the night races in S'pore Grand Prix
It seems that he is always not the favourite but come from behind to win...
Its goes to show that when one is determined, nothing can stop him...
just for recap... nothing fishy...
